Undertaking the responsibilities of comprehensive Child care services along with community services and research activities, the department is academically well oriented too. Regular SISs, LABEXs, and Seminars are held for certificate, bachelor and master students. Clinical postings and bed side learnings at the ward also play a major role in the teaching learning process. The department also runs regular short term trainings and workshops round the year. The department further plans to start training courses covering new born care, critical pediatric care and essential pediatric care.
